The lyrics in this title are from one of my all time favourite songs from one of my all time favourite musicals - Paint your wagon. It's an irreverent look at gold-mining, marriage and religion. While Clint Eastwood may hate it, I consider it bloody fantastic!
I was thinking of these lines a few weeks ago whilst wandering around Hongdae in Seoul. I love to "roam" on a Sunday morning in Seoul. It's quiet, peaceful and you come across unexpected things from interesting plant holders to beautiful doors. Whether I am in Seoul or somewhere else, there is always ample time for photos and appreciation of the beautiful, weird and fascinating aspects of this country, no matter the hour!
To that end, and I doubt you will think I am mad, here are some photos from my recent times in Seoul from September 2013 to March 2014. I hope you agree these sights look even better looking back!
